Before embracing her current role, she dedicated 15 years as an educator in Baton Rouge & Ascension Parish. Her passion for learning and growth led her back to school, where she successfully earned her Master's degree in Integrated Marketing Communications in 2023. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Nikki channels her creativity and enthusiasm into performances as lead singer for the local band "Press 1 for English." As a Texas native, she has called Louisiana home since attending and graduating from LSU. She is a long-time resident of Prairieville, happily married for two decades, and a proud mother of three children.
