Home Interior Trends Heating Up in 2026

Last week I discussed home interior styles that were headed out for 2026, so this week let's take a look at what’s in this year. 👍🏼

🧡Warm, Earthy Color Palettes
People want spaces that feel calm and welcoming, not clinical or cold, so neutrals are shifting from cool grays and stark whites to warmer, more inviting tones like terracotta, olive, and soft browns.

🪵Natural Materials & Texture
Textured, sensory materials like wood, stone, marble, and natural fibers add depth and warmth, making spaces feel rich without fuss. These designs feel good to be in, not just look at.

🌀Curved & Organic Shapes
Straight-edge everything is giving way to softer, more fluid forms like rounded sofas and chairs, arched doorways and mirrors, and gentle curves with accent tables and lighting. These shapes bring a sense of movement and softness that invites relaxation.

🥰Layered, Personalized Spaces
Minimalism is evolving into intentional maximalism, where layers tell a story using mixed textures and materials, different patterns, and art and decor with personal meaning. Interiors that look like showrooms are shifting to ones that reflect the owner’s personality.

📚Wellness-Centered Interiors
Spaces are being designed to encourage mental and physical health, so changes like more natural light, plants, quiet spaces like nooks and reading corners, and healthy materials like natural fibers are being done to support that lifestyle.

Your home should be a place you love, so ultimately do what makes you happy. 🤗 If you’re considering making a design change, I hope this info was helpful!!
