Now that it’s officially spring 🌿, it's time to look ahead and prepare for warmer weather. ☀️😎
Here are 5 ways you can get your home ready for when the temperatures start rising....
❄️Have your HVAC inspected by a professional (even if it seems to be working fine) before the hot months are upon us, and they are booked solid.
🏠Check your roof for minor problems like misaligned, cracked or missing shingles, all of which can let water seep in, and while you’re up there, check gutters and downspouts for any debris that needs to be cleared.
🪳Inspect windows, doors, and the exterior of your house for any holes, gaps, or cracks that heat and pests could get through.
🐀Check your attic for critters and clean any droppings if necessary, and consider adding additional insulation if yours has compacted.
🛝 Inspect all outside equipment, for rust, sharp edges, exposed hardware, and rot. Make sure to ALWAYS check children’s play areas, patio furniture, and anything else left outside for harmful wildlife before use.
I hope these tips help prepare you to be safe and have fun as we head into warmer weather!! 🌡️
